Colorado weather forecast: Snow falls above 11,000 feet

The National Weather Service has issued a Special Weather Statement for the Gore and Elk Mountain Ranges, the West Sawatch Mountainsand the San Juans above 11,000 feet.

Check out the radar to see what the weather will look like in your area.

One to three inches of snow is possible - beginning Monday night through Tuesday morning.

Below 11,000 feet, cloudy and cool conditions will persist with the chance for light rain showers.

Our weather will continue cloudy, cool and a bit unsettled through late Wednesday. Afternoon highs will run in the upper 60s and lower 70s.

Warmer drier weather returns Thursday and Friday with mostly sunny skies and highs back near 80s degrees by the weekend.
