The second annual Primalpalooza is a cyclocross race for every level from the newbie to the pro. The event includes tons of prizes for the crowd and racers and best of all, benefits a local nonprofit: Trips for Kids.
The race takes place Saturday, Sept. 29 will also feature an expo area, food concessions, and a kids play area that includes free Strider racing on their mini-race course.
The course is a brand, new, two-mile, closed course featuring a 350 meter straight at the start before the first turn, challenging dismounts and heart pumping run- ups. Organizers says it's a great passing course.
Pre-registration is just $30 through midnight on Sept. 27. Race Day registration is an additional $5. Fields will be limited to 100 racers.
Primalpalooza takes place at the North Area Athletic Complex, 19500 West 64th Parkway in Golden. For more details and to register, visit http://bit.ly/VDfhnb.
