For most of the state the moisture will come in the form of rain, including the Denver area and all of the Front Range where bands of showers will last well into Wednesday evening.

With the clouds and showers in the forecast Wednesday highs will only be in the 60s around the Denver metro area. 

The showers will happen at just about any point of the day Wednesday with many areas expected to get from one half to up to one inch of badly-needed rain.

Showers will be more rare Thursday through Saturday, confined mainly in the afternoons and early evening.
