It's called the AddONE Campaign. It's a grassroots effort to generate jobs.
"It was launched at Golden, CO company called ERA a couple of weeks ago. It's really our feeling that as business owners and stake holders in Jefferson County that this AddONE campaign is exactly what the county needs to get people back to work," Wy Livingston, owner of Wystone Teas and ambassador of the AddONE Campaign said.
The goal is to have each business in Jefferson County hire at least one person.
"I really do believe that can be accomplished. In Jefferson County we have approximately 20,000 businesses. And so, if only 5 percent of those businesses hire one person, that's 1,000 jobs. That's pretty significant by any measure," Livingston said.
