Moreno was given a 30-day suspended jail sentence and one year of probation. He was also sentenced to 24 hours of community service and was ordered to pay $1,500 in fines and fees.
Moreno was driving 70 mph in a 45 mph on I-25 near the Hampden Avenue exit in the early morning hours of Feb. 1, according to Denver investigators.
Police say Moreno voluntarily submitted to a blood test, but those results were never released.
