Twenty-one-year-old Rollin Oliver entered his plea Thursday in the killing of officer Celena Hollis.
Hollis was killed on June 24 while trying to break up a fight. Oliver is accused of firing multiple rounds during the altercation.
Oliver has been held in jail since his arrest but his lawyers are asking a judge to consider allowing him to be released on bond.
A decision isn't expected until at least next month.
