The big gathering was at Kensington Park in Westminster. It's estimated around 700 people showed up at the Westminster park.
An additional gathered at Rock Creek Superior Community Park in Superior, near the area where Jessica's book bag was found on Sunday.
"The goal is to try to create some symbolism that we're keeping the lights on for Jessica," pastor Chris Cote said. "Both communities are mobilized to do whatever it takes, even if we were to go into the night and search for her.
People who attended the vigils were asked to shine their flashlights and cell phones in the sky.
