Miami-Dade Fire-Rescue Lt. Arnold Piedrahita tells WSVN-TV that some workers could be heard calling from help inside the rubble shortly after Wednesday's collapse.

Television reports showed several workers being treated by paramedics at the scene. 

Authorities say no students were in the area at the time. The multi-story garage is being built at the Miami-Dade College campus in the western part of the county. 

TV reports show one large section of the concrete structure collapsed.
