Cabela's is set to build a 105,000 square foot store at the corner of Interstate 25 and Ridgegate Parkway.
The store has been in the planning stages since March. It's expected to open next spring.
The City of Lone Tree provided $7.2 million incentives in infrastructure improvements to secure the Cabela's location.
Cabela's is also planning to build a location in Thornton, which should open the fall of 2013.
The sporting goods chain is based in Sidney, Neb. and sells outdoor equipment.
