Danielle Dascalos from the museum appeared on 9NEWS Thursday morning. She says the annual Victorian horrors event is an event where families and couples can come out for a date or family night.

The museum will be giving away prizes to kids who dress up in costume. Guests can meet literary artists who rise from the dead, like Edgar Allen Poe and H.G. Wells.

"This year - being the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic -we're focusing on tales from the sea that are a bit creepy. Definitely going to send chills down your spine," Dascalos said.

Dascalos says its best to make reservations before they sell out. The event is Oct. 19 and 20. It also runs on Oct. 26 and 27.
