Phillips County authorities say powerful winds knocked down a power line Thursday morning, sparking the 3,800 acre blaze.
The fire was nearly out as of Thursday afternoon.
No structures were damaged and no injuries were reported. However, a firefighter did suffer minor injuries from dirt stirred up in the wind.
Crews from at least 10 agencies were battling the fire.
