Radio caller upset deer crossings in high traffic area

A North Dakota radio station took a call from a woman who is upset deer crossing signs encourage deer to cross the road at high traffic spots.

"My frustration is that Minnesota and North Dakota departments of transportation would allow these deer crossings in such high traffic areas," the caller says.

The Colorado Department of Transportaion posted about this call on its Facebook page.

"Oh, deer. Believe it or not, we have received calls like this from motorists. Just to be clear, the wildlife crossing signs we post are for YOU to read, not the animals!," the CDOT post read.

The audio clip of this call from Y94 Playhouse Fargo has been put to a YouTube video that has gone viral with over 4-million views.
