The ecoATM conducts a thorough inspection of the device's memory card condition and screen scratches. The inspection takes less than a minute before a price is presented.

Using cameras and artificial intelligence, the ecoATM can recognize almost 4,000 cellular devices. It also accepts old MP3 players and tablets. 

Only a few hundred ecoATM have been released to the public, but early-response results indicate that thousands will be distributed throughout the country over the next few years.
