More than 25,000 Colorado voters have already submitted their mail-in ballots.
Most of the mail-in votes came from Douglas County, with more than 10,000 from registered Republicans and 8,000 from Democrats. The other 5,000 came from unaffiliated voters.
Republicans have a slight edge in registration, with 1,157,083 voters, compared to 1,150,527 Democrats. More are registered as unaffiliated, with 1,293,492.
Mail-in voting goes from Oct. 9 to Nov. 6. and early voting begins on Monday, Oct. 22.
