Miklosi showed up to fight Friday and he managed to turn most of his answers into pointed attacks of the incumbent.
"[Coffman] raised his own pay when he was a state legislator," Miklosi said. "He needs to walk the walk. He talks about pension and other congressional reforms. He doesn't walk the walk."
"That's simply not accurate," Coffman shot back. "I've been a strong leader and I earned the endorsement of the Denver Post for cutting the defense budget."
"The Department of Defense is far too top-heavy," he added.
Miklosi angrily accused Coffman of smear tactics in campaign ads, while Coffman said Miklosi misrepresents him as a zealot on conservative social policies.
The two also weighed in on their differences on issues from gun control to immigration, but they both named the same player as their favorite Denver Bronco.
