Brennan has made two dozen albums during her career, both as a solo performer and with her band Clannad. Known as the "First Lady of Celtic Music," Brennan has recorded with many world-famous musicians and has provided music for several soundtracks, including Titanic, To End All Wars and King Arthur.
Clannad consists of siblings Moya, Ciaran and Pol Brennan along with their twin uncles Noel and Padraig Duggan. The group draws from the many different musical influences which helped shape them as they grew up in the remote north west coast of Ireland.
Their North American concerts are the first time Clannad has been to the states in 19 years. Brennan says fans can expect to hear a mix of new and old music, including "Harry's Game," "I Will Find You" and "Lore." She is planning what she calls a show of two-halves to accomodate as many songs as possible.
Brennan is using the five original members of Clannad, a percussionist and a keyboard player. She says it will be a big enough group to give fans the unique Clannad sound they've come to expect and enjoy.
