A pre-evacuation order was lifted Sunday for residents of 18 houses. They had been told to be ready for a possible evacuation since Wednesday.

The Vallecito Fire isn't growing much and was 25 percent contained Monday.

Fire managers are pulling some resources from the fire but 40 firefighters will remain to monitor the blaze, which is believed to have been started by lightning.

A 670-acre fire is also still burning in steep and rugged terrain in Rocky Mountain National Park.

The Fern Lake Fire is 30 percent contained. The cause of that fire is still under investigation.
