Jackie Hasty pleaded guilty earlier this year to reckless manslaughter related to the shooting death of 27-year-old Officer Jay Sheridan in March 2011.

She was sentenced to 19 months in prison but gets credit for 19 months served.

Her husband, Dennis Hasty, shot and killed the Limon police officer who had came into their mobile home to arrest Dennis Hasty for failing to register as a sex offender.

Prosecutors say Jackie Hasty did not tell police that Dennis Hasty was hiding in a bedroom with a gun at the time the arrest warrant was being served.

Dennis Hasty later shot and killed himself after a four-hour police standoff that day.

Dennis Hasty had three warrants out of Tennessee, all stemming from allegations he failed to register as a sex offender. He was in and out of prison from 2001 to 2005.

Jackie Hasty will soon start 3 years of parole after she is processed and released.
