Marc Reck, who also founded Reck Agri Reality and Auction, says the industry is still riding previous years of growth and success.
"We came off 2011 as one of the best years we've ever had in agriculture," Reck said. "And as we started this new year, we still have low interest rates. The crops that were grown for this year still ended up being pretty good, and there's still good demand with commodity prices where they are."
Reck says a major concern for next year is a shortage of irrigation water, and many farmers are counting on winter to bring much needed snowpack to the mountains.
