He's a regular on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and the Chinese social network Weibo, with more than 16 million fans. Lang just produced a hip-hop classical online video, featuring the music of Chopin and Dubstep dancer Marquese Scott (also known as Nonstop) to plug The Chopin Album, released earlier this month.

We met with Lang at a recent concert in Los Angeles with the Pacific Symphony. Lang will perform a benefit concert at New York's Carnegie Hall on Oct. 30 to raise money for music education and his Lang Lang International Music Foundation. He'll share the stage with host Alec Baldwin and singer Dee Dee Bridgewater.
