According to police and court records, Joseph Losinski fed strychnine-laced meatballs to his neighbor's two dogs on Aug. 8. 2011. The dogs, a German Shepherd and a chocolate Lab, both died.
Losinski then sent an intimidating letter to another neighbor, who was a witness in the case.
He plead guilty on Oct. 11 2012 to one count of aggravated cruelty to animals and one count of intimidating a victim or witness.
