The victim, described as an Hispanic male in his 20s, was trying to cross the busy street near South Federal Boulevard and West
Florida Avenue around 9 p.m. when he was hit by several cars. The first driver that hit the man fled the scene.
The pedestrian was rushed to the hospital with serious bodily injuries.
Denver police are looking for a Subaru Impreza WRX. Police say the car will be missing a mirror and have other damage to the front drivers side.
The car was last seen heading southbound on Federal.
