According to Shannon Lukens, temperatures may be below zero outside, but the pools are open if it is -10 or warmer.
Water from the hot mineral springs still comes out of the ground at 103 degrees - despite the temperature of the air.
Lukens says they have some hearty souls who swim every day - no matter what the temperature.
