Thomas Jefferson beat Denver South 56-50 Friday night in a Denver Public League game at South high school.

Eric Andres led all scorers with 29 points as the Spartans improved to (11-7, 2-2). Next up for Thomas Jefferson is Montbello on Tuesday.

South falls to (15-4, 3-1) and will play Kennedy on the 5th.
