BIBB COUNTY, Ga. - Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones says there are three dead in a multi-car pile-up on Interstate 16 in Laurens County.

According to 911 dispatch, a tanker truck exploded and 20 vehicles are involved. Firefighters from multiple agencies battled an active fire on the scene.

A witness says multiple cars were also on fire.

There were multiple injuries.
