KUSA- A no-kill shelter in Brighton says someone stole one of its puppies at an adoption event Saturday afternoon.
The LifeLine Puppy Rescue, a small non-profit rescue organization, hosts adoption fairs every Saturday and Sunday.
During the event on Feb. 23, a 9-week-old Australian Shepherd disappeared. He is black and white and is not microchipped.
Because LifeLine is a non-profit organization, it relies on donations and adoption fees. It would have cost $250 to adopt the puppy.
If you know have any information about the theft contact the Adams County Sheriff's office.
