KUSA - Baseball players often lose helmets, hats and even shoes during games, but not very often do they give up their glove.

University of Oregon pitcher Jeff Gold picked up a grounder coming his way late in a game against Cal State. Unfortunately the ball got caught in his glove.

Instead of missing the opportunity to get an out, Gold, tossed his glove over to first base. The ball came out and his first baseman made the catch.

Oregon went on to win the game 4-1.
