NEDERLAND - The 12th annual Frozen Dead Guy Days kicks off this Friday in downtown Nederland.
With snow in the forecast, organizers say "the show goes on...snow or shine."
The festival celebrates the cryogenically-preserved body of Grandpa Bredo Morstoel, who has been preserved in -60 degree dry ice since 1993 in hopes that technology will be developed to bring him back to life.
The event draws big crowds for such events as a parade of hearses, frozen-turkey bowling, and a polar bear plunge. The festival lasts through Sunday.
