KUSA - Each day, Silverthorne Public Works director Bill Linfield leaves for work about an hour early so he can camp out in the woods in Summit County to photograph wildlife.
Starting Thursday night, he will show around 350 of his pictures for a fundraising event for PEO, a nonprofit that helps women advance their education with college scholarships.
Bills pictures often show wildlife doing odd things, including a tall moose trying to eat short grass or a deer sticking its tongue out.
"Living in Summit County it's easy to find wildlife; it's not as easy to find wildlife doing unusual things," Linfield said. "I'm always on the prowl trying to find animals doing what they do naturally and not just standing and posing, that's easy to find it."
Bill's slideshow series is Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Dillon Community Church. Tickets are $10.
