FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - University of Wyoming officials have apologized after some students chanted "alcoholic" at Colorado State men's basketball coach Larry Eustachy during a game earlier this week.

The Coloradoan reports (http://noconow.co/16hlETn ) the chants during Wednesday's game in Laramie, Wyo., followed the distribution of a flier highlighting Eustachy's struggles with alcoholism. It showed a widely distributed photo of Eustachy partying with University of Missouri co-eds when he was a coach at Iowa State University in 2003.

Eustachy is open about his struggles with addiction and regularly attends Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. He says he will mark a decade of sobriety next month.

Wyoming athletics spokesman Tim Harkins says the university doesn't condone the students' behavior. He added that interns at UW's athletics marketing office created the fliers, which weren't properly reviewed.
