AURORA - The 16-year-old driver who police say crashed a car into a mobile home while practicing a dangerous maneuver remains in critical condition Tuesday.
Monica Gonzalez was performing J-turns, turning the car 180 degrees and engaging the emergency brake, at an Aurora mobile-home park Sunday when she crashed into an empty trailer.
Three other teens were in the car including her brother, 13-year-old Noe Gonzalez, who was killed in the collision.
The two other passengers in the car, Arturo Martinez and Luis Luna Robles, both 16, were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
The Gonzalez family held a memorial service at North Middle School Tuesday night to remember Noe Gonzalez and bring awareness to teen driving safety.
An account has been set up for the Gonzalez family at Wells Fargo.
