DENVER - The controversial bill to limit the number of rounds that can be in ammunition magazines appears is heading to Governor John Hickenlooper's desk.

The Colorado House of Representatives voted to accept the changes made by the Colorado Senate, which included limiting magazines to 15 rounds. The House then voted on the bill itself again, which sent it to the governor's desk.

The House voted to send the universal background check bill to a conference committee to sort out differences between the Senate and House versions of the bill.
