HIGHLANDS RANCH - The teen who saw his dream of owning a 1972 Chevy Chevelle fulfilled with the help of 9News viewers lost his three-year long battle with cancer Tuesday night.
Austin Williams, 17, was surrounded by family when he passed away. Funeral services are still pending.
Doctors diagnosed Williams with Rhabdomyosarcoma in 2010 when he was just 14 years old.
Last year, following a story on Williams' wish to drive a 72 Chevelle, various 9News viewers and private corporations donated thousands to help fulfill that wish.
