WHEAT RIDGE - A Toyota Rav4 belonging to a missing Wheat Ridge woman was found late Wednesday night.
According to Wheat Ridge police, a citizen called them regarding the vehicle being parked in the 3700 block of Marshall Street.
Police will search the Rav4 on Thursday for evidence.
Wheat Ridge Police said on Wednesday they found Leann "Annie" Meyer's truck in a parking lot in the area of West 72nd Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard.
Police say a tip led them to the 51-year-old's truck. Investigators are searching the vehicle for any evidence.
"Any information that we get is good information for us," Annie Meyer's brother Mark said, who flew in from California earlier this week to help with the search.
Meyer was last heard from on Feb. 23, when she spoke with a friend over the phone. The last communication from Meyer's phone was in a text message to her employer on Feb. 25.
Police still want to speak with Melissa Miller, Meyer's roommate. So far, Wheat Ridge police say, she has refused to talk to them.
"She makes me sick, that if she knows something and if you're a roommate or a friend of any kind, come out and tell us," Mark Meyer said.
Friends and family are planning a search Saturday for Meyer. A forensic team and a cadaver dog searched Meyer's home Tuesday.
US Bank is offering a reward of $8,000 in conjunction with Crime Stoppers who is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to the location of Leann Meyers.
