KUSA - Founded in 1952, te Ice-O-Matic company was established when Dave Allen brought a new invention to a trade show and began running it out of the bathroom of his hotel room.

Now, Ice-O-Matic ships more than 200 models to more than 45 countries.

"We also have sister companies out in Shanghai, two in Italy and another one in South Carolina under a number of different brands. Together, we are the largest ice-machine manufacture in the world," President Kevin Fink said.

Chances are, you see these ice machines everyday and don't even realize it. Ice-O-Matic is now a multi-million dollar company and they don't plan to slow down anytime too soon.

"From here, we continue to grow. We do a lot of business in Latin America; it's a growth area for us. We continue to grow as people around the world continue to use more ice," he said.
