LAKEWOOD - Denver and Lakewood police are staging a tactical situation at West 12th Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard in Lakewood.
Police are attempting to contact a driver accused of brandishing a gun from the window of the suspect's car.
It started in the 2700 block of Hillside Avenue in Denver Friday evening.
Police say a person was driving around and brandishing a gun at random people on the street. One of the victims wrote down the suspect's license plate and called police.
That information led police to that Lakewood location where a SWAT team has staged.
Police say multiple suspects may be involved.
