ENGLEWOOD - A long-time customer of Stone Creek Cafe crashed her car into the side of the restaurant Tuesday afternoon when she accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brake pedal.
According to the restaurant owner's daughter, the elderly lady was driving a Toyota Corolla when it slammed into the side of the building where the sink and the kitchen are located.
The impact knocked an employee across the kitchen and into a mixer. He was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
She said her family has owned the business for 30 years.
The driver walked away uninjured, according to the daughter.
