NEW YORK - Hundreds of thousands of 120-volt LED bulbs - which were sold under the brand names Definity, EcoSmart, Sylvania and Westinghouse - are being recalled due to a fire hazard.
The bulbs can overheat during use.
Lighting Science Group is aware of more than 60 incidents of product failure, including eight involving visible smoke or fire.
Consumers should stop using the bulbs and contact Light Science Group for replacement bulbs at 855-574-2533 or online at www.lsgc.com/recall.
