KUSA - We're coming up on the eight-day festival of Passover. It commemorates the emancipation of the Israelites from slavery in ancient Egypt. Candles, holiday meals, rest and reflection are all part of what has become the most celebrated Jewish holiday of the year.
Rabbi Levi Brackman joined 9NEWS, along with his two sons Dovi and Benny, Thursday morning.
He says it's important to encourage children to ask questions about Passover. He also explained the symbolism of the Seder meal.
Rabbi Brackman showed 9NEWS some of the other ways people can make Passover truly meaningful.
