KUSA - Nearly 100 members of the CSU marching band are stranded in Ireland.
They are casualties of the Lufthansa airline strike that cancelled more than 690 flights Thursday.
The CSU band traveled to Dublin to perform in the St. Patrick's Day parade over the weekend.
Airline workers were only off the job for seven hours, but the stoppage caused a major backlog for tens of thousands of travelers.
A band member says the extra stay is inconvenient but the airline has been accommodating.
A total of 250 band members traveled to Dublin. Those who were not traveling on Lufthansa have made it home.
The other hundred are at the mercy of rescheduling. The earliest they can leave Ireland is Friday.
