KUSA - Boulder Police arrested a 48-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting a 22-year-old woman in her home and believe he may have targeted more people.
George Osonau Tiba is facing charges of sexual assault, second-degree burglary and theft.
The victim told police she first encountered Tiba while she was out with friends earlier in the evening at the Walrus, located at 1911 11th St.
Friends of the victim believed Tiba had been watching for potential victims at the Walrus. They say she attempted to disengage herself from him several times during the evening after he approached her.
The victims was assaulted at her Boulder home between the hours of 2 a.m. and 10 a.m. She says the suspect stole cash and other items from her as well.
Due to the descriptions of Tiba's behavior on the evening of the assault and previous behavior, police are concerned that he may have victimized others who have not yet reported the incidents to investigators.
Tiba was taken to the Weld County Jail. He is being held there on $50,000 bond.
