Teen who lost battle with cancer remembered at Red Rocks

KUSA - A teen who saw his dream of owning a 1972 Chevy Chevelle fulfilled with the help of 9NEWS viewers lost his three-year long battle with cancer on March 12. On Friday, a classic car rally was held in his honor at a celebration of life service at Red Rocks.

Austin Williams, 17, lost his three-year battle with cancer last week. His dying wish was to own a 1972 Chevelle.

In 2012, through the generosity of so many of our viewers, Austin saw his dream of owning a royal clue 1972 Chevy Chevelle fulfilled.

Doctors diagnosed Williams with Rhabdomyosarcoma in 2010 when he was just 14 years old.
