KUSA - Front Range airport is breathing a sigh of relief after learning its control tower will not be shut down due to sequestration.
Initially, the airport was on the list of air traffic control towers to be closed. However, Friday's final list shows that the Front Range airport will remain open.
The FAA released a list of nearly 200 towers facing potential closure last month, giving airport managers time to submit arguments for keeping them open.
