KUSA - Heavy rain and pea-size hail fell in the foothills and areas around the Denver metro area Monday.
An inch of rain in just 15 minutes caused minor street flooding around Evergreen. The rain turned into hail in some areas.
The storms gradually moved into southeast Colorado Monday night.
Tuesday and Wednesday will bring more chances for showers and thunderstorms, including a threat of heavy rain, lightning and hail. Drier air will push back into the state Thursday.
