DENVER - The walls are going up on a house that President Jimmy Carter will help to finish this Fall in Denver.
Angel Meza and her daughter are putting in volunteer hours on what will be their new home. They were chosen as a Habitat for Humanity family.
Their house is one of 11 that is being built for the Carter Work Project. The former president chose the Globeville neighborhood in north Denver as a site to celebrate is 30th year volunteering with Habitat.
Angel is a single Mom of 4. She says this opportunity to buy an affordable home at zero interest will change their lives.
