DENVER - The Colorado Department of Transportation will continue work on Pecos Street over Interstate 70 during the week of Aug. 18.
CDOT crews will rebuild the intersection on Pecos Street between 48th Avenue and the eastbound on and off-ramps.
Crews will be working on the roundabouts and median on Pecos Street, installing a fence, guardrail and a sprinkler system, paving the eastbound I-70 on-ramp and installing lighting.
All of the work will occur from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. behind the construction barriers. CDOT says traffic will not be impacted. However, workers will be on-site to direct traffic. Pecos Street at I-70 will remain closed through August.
