BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - University of Colorado's campus smoking ban is now in effect.
The ban was signed by Chancellor Phil DiStefano in February and prohibits smoking on the Boulder campus beginning Monday, except in designated smoking areas.
The Boulder Daily Camera reports the university will not issue tickets to those who smoke on campus, but students caught smoking on campus could be referred to the Office of Student Conduct and employees could be reported to their supervisors.
