DENVER - A man shot by police last week is doing better and was able to appear in court on Friday.
Daniel Abeyta is accused of shooting his wife and then killing his neighbor when she tried to intervene.
Police say after the shootings, Abeyta took to the streets with a gun and propane tanks with gun powder on them. Police shot him when he shot at one of the tanks.
9Wants To Know has learned he worked for the City of Denver's solid waste department for 13 years.
He appeared before a judge Friday morning wearing a sling on his arm.
