PARK COUNTY - A 54-year-old woman was advised of the formal charges against her for the murder of her roommate Annie Meyer.
Melissa Miller was charged with first-degree murder, theft and tampering with physical evidence.
Meyer was last heard from on Feb. 23, when she spoke to a friend over the phone. The last piece of communication from Meyer's phone was in a text message to her employer on Feb. 25.
Police have maintained that Miller was the last person to see Meyer alive and would not cooperate with the investigation after Meyer disappeared.
Miller was arrested after police found Meyer's remains near a Park County cabin on July 4.< /p>
Her preliminary hearing is set for Nov. 27.
