GREELEY, Colo. (AP) - A Greeley woman accused of threatening a neighbor with a pellet gun has testified she never pointed the gun at anyone.
Seventy-six-year-old Joyce Bradmon is charged with felony menacing. Thirty-year-old Michael Crawley told police Bradmon pointed the pellet gun at him in 2011 after she yelled at his child for drawing on a sidewalk with chalk.
The Greeley Tribune reports Bradmon testified Tuesday that she only held the gun on her lap and had never loaded or fired it.
Bradmon said she bought the gun to shoot at snakes in her yard and also planned to let her son use it on hikes.
Attorneys are scheduled to give closing arguments Wednesday.
